With a four-decade career rooted in the tyre machinery manufacturing, Wei brings unparalleled expertise that makes a differ. After he graduated from the Chemical Technology College in Yinchuan, Ningxia in 1980, he spent his first 20 years working in the Yinchuan Great Wall Tyre Factory, now GT Tire, where he honed his skills working in a variety of positions.

In 2001 he moved on to assume the role of the Vice President Sales at MESCNAC, then a local Chinese manufacturer of tyre machinery equipment. In MESNAC he managed to sell building machines, belt cutting lines, extruders and other equipment to numerous tyre factories in Asia and built credit for MESNAC along with the lasting relationships across the tyre industry.

In 2008 Wei led the team of Chinese experts to have set up Mesnac Research Technical Centre in Europe and he was instrumental in helping MESNAC acquire the American machinery manufacturers TMSI and WYKO and established their offices in the United States.
These successful acquisitions helped MESNAC get the key machinery technologies in a very short period of time and develop its own state-of-the-art machinery products. During Wei’s 20 years tenure, MESNAC saw the unprecedented global growth and became the world’s largest and most universal producer of machinery for the tyre industry.

Wei’s vast and extensive knowledge of Asian tyre industry and close relationships with the China Rubber Industry Association and China United Rubber Corporation further enhance Tyremasters’ expertise in bringing a wide breadth of experience to the marketplace.
